NOMINATE A YOUNG ACHIEVER

Local MP, Tim Pallas has today called on local residents to nominate young achievers in Wyndham for the 2016 Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Mr Pallas said there were many young achievers in Wyndham who deserved statewide recognition for their achievements.

Young people are the future leaders and change-makers of our community and deserve recognition for their tremendous efforts and achievements.

The Victorian Young Achiever Awards acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of young Victorians up to 29 years of age.

In 2016 the Awards will recognise the achievements of young people across 11 categories ranging from Arts and Fashion to Community Service and Leadership.

One of the category winners will be declared the 2016 Victorian Young Achiever of the Year.

The Andrews Labor Government is a proud supporter of the Victorian Young Achiever Awards – young Victorians deserve recognition for the role they play in shaping the future of our state.

Nominations are now open and close on 11 December 2015, with the winners announced at a Gala Presentation Dinner in May 2016.
